ABOUT ME
My name is Wanda Lee Kinnie, I live in Maryland with my husband of 28 years, who is a Retired United States Navy Senior Chief and the love of our lives, our furkids—Cairn Terriers. My favourite colours are Orange and Silver, but I love any colour that is bright, bold, makes a statement and I will not hesitate to put them together in an outfit. Like my favourite performer, Cyndi Lauper, I dance to my own unique tune.
I started out in the doll makeover community under the tutelage of Amy Nardone of Gothic Illusions and decided to branch out on my own. I was not into the playing with dolls; though I did own a Jane West doll, a doll that was close to my height when I was about 6 years of age and a couple of various Baby Dolls. I preferred to play with the animals on my parent's farm, climb trees, playing with Matchbox cars.....yeah, I was the typical tomboy (an energetic, sometimes boisterousgirl whose behavior and pursuits, esp. in games and sports, are considered more typical of boys than of girls) .
Now I actually enjoy playing with and redressing dolls! I also enjoy dressing up and attending the local Renaissance Faires, photography, writing, am a long bow archer in a local SCA group (I'm learning how to make my own sized clothes!) and reading (Sherrilyn Kenyon is my favourite author—so much so that I actually have dolls in my personal that I have renamed in honour of characters in her Dark/Dream Hunters series).
I recently competed in the 1st CDDC challenge and though I did not win, I felt I was a winner as I acquired much knowledge while in the competition. I hope to bring my own vision of doll fashions and the occasional OOAK doll to this new world I have ventured into.
All my items come from a Smoke-Free, Pet Friendly home and will come to you properly and securely packaged.
